About

Danny Trudeau is a film composer, musical director, and bassist whose work bridges the worlds of live performance and cinematic storytelling. With a background performing alongside acclaimed artists like JUNO Award-winning Dominique Fils-Aimé, Jordanian virtuoso Farah Siraj, and Thai-born artist Salin, Danny brings a rich musical sensibility to the screen, crafting compelling scores that reflect his artistic depth.

He contributed additional music to the CBC documentary Afro Canada and has created string quartet arrangements for Canadian artists including Patrick Lehman, Soul Secret Agency, ESCA, and Ginette Reno. Danny’s signature style blends brooding orchestration with atmospheric trip-hop, drawing on a wide-ranging background as a record producer, touring musician, and bandleader.

Raised in Montreal’s vibrant and diverse music scene, Danny developed a deep curiosity for music across genres. He studied both Performance and Jazz Composition at St. Laurent College, and soon began producing pop-infused soul records with local artists. As a bassist and musical director, he has performed thousands of shows around the world, earning three nominations for 'Best Show of the Year' at the ADISQ Gala.

Danny is also the co-founder of The Sound of Eddy, his Electronic/Soul project signed to Ensoul Records.
